Control Diary (Five)
The fifth day, today is the fifth day of being under control.
As soon as I got up in the morning, the first thing I paid attention to was of course the color of the "Suikang Code," green, green code.
April 13, 2022 (Wednesday)
A new message was posted in the community group "Baiyun Junjing Warm Home Group":
Dear residents: Due to road closures and insufficient medical staff, the Junjing nucleic acid testing site is suspended. Today's nucleic acid testing points have been changed to Sanshe Jiutang and Qifu Second Horizontal Road. (Those with yellow codes can go to the community hospital, Sanshe Jiutang, or Qifu Second Road for testing). Thank you.
What’s going on with the "road closures" and "insufficient medical staff"?
I hurried out of the community to Qifu Road, wow! What a spectacle. Both sides of Qifu Road are blocked with water barriers. The road cannot be crossed. The controlled area has been divided into smaller grids, reportedly to further restrict people's movement and block the spread of the virus.

With the roads completely blocked, of course, there is a shortage of medical staff.
What a big change in just one day!
Suddenly, someone in the "Baiyun Junjing Warm Home Group" posted a QR code that caught my attention.

Could it be that Jintang Seafood Restaurant is offering dine-in or takeout? I joined the group.
It turns out that due to the pandemic, the restaurant has canceled dine-in services, and many seafood items are not selling, so they are having a big sale.

Awesome!
I went straight into the seafood tank of the restaurant.

I ordered a live fish, a dozen abalone, and a hanging water fish. Perfect!
Steamed Chenpi Live Fish
Cut the live fish into pieces and wash them clean, coat with a little cornstarch, add some dried tangerine peel and ginger slices, marinate with soy sauce and cooking wine for 10 minutes. Steam on high heat for 15 minutes.

Steamed Hanging Water Fish
Wash the fish pieces, coat them with cornstarch, marinate with soy sauce and cooking wine for 10 minutes, and steam on high heat for 12 minutes.

Steamed Abalone
Wash the abalone and remove the intestines, cut the thick meat into a crisscross pattern, place on a plate, add shredded ginger and minced garlic, and pour in soy sauce, then steam for 4 minutes.

During this pandemic,
only love and good food cannot be let down,
good food can heal everything caused by the pandemic,
looking forward to traveling around the world after the pandemic ends,
tasting delicious dishes from all over the globe.
